Credit: 4 (3 lecture, 3 lab) Survey of physical geology, historical geology, and related sciences. Includes study of the physical natureof Earth and the physical processes acting upon and within the Earth. This course will also address the geological understanding of time,the history of life, and physical changes since the Earth's origin. This course is designed to meet the needs of education and non-science majors. GEOL 1401 or GEOL 1402 can be taken in any order. Core Curriculum Course.
Geol 1402 Earth Science II Syllabus
Credit: 4 (3 lecture, 3 lab)Survey of astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, and related sciences. Includes study of the planets and the stars, the world's oceans, the interactions between humans and Earth, and the basic principles of weather and climate. This course is designed to meet the needs of education and non-science majors. GEOL 1401or GEOL 1402 can be taken in any order. Core Curriculum Course. |
