GEOGRAPHY 1301 PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY

Course Description

GEOG 1301 Physical Geography Credit: 3 (3 lecture)Basic elements of geography, maps, weather and climate, and natural resources.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites: Must be placed into college-level reading (or take GUST 0342 as a co-requisite) and be placed into college-level writing (or take ENGL 0310/0349 as a co requisite).

Course Goals

Introduction to the concepts which provide a foundation for continued study of geography. Includes the different elements of natural environment as related to human activities, modes of living, and map concepts.
