HCCS does not offer a degree in Developmental English, but the program courses serve as requirement and preparation for all students who plan to complete either an Associate of Arts degree (A. A.), Associate of Science degree (A. S.), Bachelor of Arts degree (B. A.), or Bachelor of Science degree (B. S.).  Bachelors’ degrees are completed at four-year colleges or universities.  Two year Associate degrees transfer in tact to four-year colleges or universities; that is, the student may enter the institution as a first semester junior.  Program courses also serve as requirement and preparation for most technical, vocational, or licensing programs.
