Transfer of ANTHROPOLOGY COURSES

WHICH CORE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET BY ANTHROPOLOGY COURSES AT HCCS?
All anthropology courses have status in the Core Curriculum.
Students completing the "Associates Degree" at HCCS can transfer courses from anthropology as CORE REQUIREMENTS. This is GOOD NEWS because students are able to transfer credits for ANTHROPOLOGY courses to four year institutions as "core" courses even if the institution does not offer a specific course. ANTHROPOLOGY Courses transfer as follows:
ANTH 2301: Physical Anthropology - "Natural Science Core"
ANTH 2302: Introduction to Archaeology - "Multicultural" AND ALSO "Social Science Core"
ANTH 2346: General Anthropology - "Multicultural" AND ALSO "Social Science Core"
ANTH 2351: Cultural Anthropology -"Multicultural" AND ALSO "Social Science Core"
