Skill
development in and reinforcement of the formulas and calculations
commonly used in the horticulture Industry. Emphasis is on business
calculations and problem solving skills. The student will compute
quantities, volumes, and shapes related to horticulture; calculate cost
production using mark-up, selling price, and profit margin; and develop
and control budgets using labor, materials, and overhead.
